good god, i’ve missed them so much. it’s still weird to me without the old cast, but i think they really needed to start over.
Ye gods. Hal’s name tag says MANAGER. I am officially rather frightened by this.
I love how Hal distracts himself with minutiae, and it makes perfect sense, but I’m wondering where they’ll go with it in S5. Right now it seems like he can be “safe” pretty reliably, but within a very limited scope, and I’m hard-pressed to imagine how he can expand his life beyond that without a risk to others that he wouldn’t (and shouldn’t) be willing to accept. Nor will Tom or Alex, for that matter, each for their own very strong reasons.
I hadn’t thought of the “counting seeds” folklore as OCD, but it totally is! Awesome. :-D
Oh my god, the guy’s so talented. He always gives so much when he’s acting – even if the camera’s just on you and he’s not being filmed he doesn’t switch off – he still gives it 100%, which is brilliant because obviously that allows you to do your best job. It was a lot of fun doing the Hal/Alex scenes – although not always easy to keep a straight face!
Never be afraid of working with people who rock. They raise everybody’s game. :-)

Everyone seems to be wearing round-point safety fangs this season. :-D Makes me wonder if they’ve had incidents?
